Situated on the north East coast of Scotland, Orkney’s Scapa Flow is home to numerous German shipwrecks left over from World War One. There were 74 ships sent to the depths of Scapa Flow; 10 battle ships 6 battle cruisers 8 light cruisers and 50 destroyers. Many are just a few metres from the surface.
The visibility is fantastic and the average dive depth is only about 15 metres so it’s suitable for anyone, from beginner to expert. Scapa Flow is with out doubt the finest wreck diving location in the UK.
