If it’s nightlife you’re after, head off to Glasgow. It definitely has the most vibrant nightlife in Scotland. The Arches is the place to go. You’ll find some of the most cutting-edge club nights here, along with plenty of live performance and exhibitions. Also, well worth checking out are Sub Club and Cube, both play excellent tunes. There are plenty of clubs with top DJs and lots of good local DJs in Glasgow.
In Edinburgh, the places to go are Leith Walk, Broughton Street, George Street and Cowgate. They’re filled with bars, nightclubs, pubs, restaurants, and live bands playing into the early hours.
Stirling has a rowdy student population that creates a vibrant and happening pub and club scene. If you’re here in July, check out the Dundee Blues Bonanza. Inverness doesn’t really have many good nightclubs but there are plenty of great bars. |
