Accommodation in Scotland
Your note
Accommodation in Scotland can be very expensive, but it’s not as bad as England.
Student or backpacker accommodation is much more readily available, and is a good option if you want to keep the sleeping costs down. Some of the most expensive areas in Scotland are Edinburgh, the Highlands and on the islands. Scotland has a wide range of accommodation on offer, from top class city hotels to massive countryside estates. The are also plenty of hostels to choose from too.
