This is the birthplace of Scotland and the focal point for much of its dramatic history.

You can trace the footsteps of some of Scotland’s most famous historical figures here - Robert the Bruce and Mary, Queen of Scots, Sir William Wallace and the notorious outlaw, Rob Roy.

The landscape here is stunning. It’s also packed with wildlife. Everything from Eagles and Osprey to Wildcats and Antlered Stag. You can even go Dolphin and Whale watching.

The world famous highland games are held here. There are plenty of traditional folk nights and local food festivals that are well worth checking out.
